Tea Total's Darjeeling Margarets Hope Tea comes from the 'Margarets Hope' tea plantation which is located in the Kurseong North Valley and was established around 1865 under a different name.

In the 1930’s the tea estate owner lived in London, one holiday he decided to take his two daughters to visit the tea garden. The youngest daughter named Margaret, fell in love with it, hoping for an opportunity to return. She sadly fell ill during the return voyage to England and died. In her memory, her father changed the garden's name to Margaret's Hope.

Fun Fact: Darjeeling is often called the "champagne" of tea.
